Description
The IEX164 is an excitation-current interface for ALSPA P320 AVR systems. It acquires the excitation-current signal from either a Hall-effect sensor or a current transformer and provides a conditioned IRED output with a nominal value of 3 V and a 0–10 V operating range.
Powered from 19–30 VDC, the interface supplies ±15 V and 24 V for the Hall sensor and optional MDEX1 brushless-exciter monitoring card. It also provides excitation-fault and supply-status outputs and is housed in a DIN-rail-mounted enclosure.
