Description
The IC697CMM742 is a single-slot, 10 Mbit/s Ethernet Interface Type 2 for the ALSPA C80-75 multifunction controller. It provides TCP/IP communication services using SRTP and Ethernet Global Data, as well as controller programming, configuration, station management and diagnostics.
Three IEEE 802.3 network interfaces are provided: 10BaseT on RJ-45, 10Base2 on BNC and AUI on a 15-pin connector. One interface is used at a time and is selected automatically. Up to four IC697CMM742 modules can be installed in a C80-75 CPU rack, and the firmware can be updated through the RS-485 service port.
