Description
The IC697CPX928 is a single-slot, 32-bit CPU for the ALSPA C80-75 multifunction controller. Based on a 96 MHz 80486DX4 processor with floating-point support, it executes Boolean instructions in approximately 0.4 µs and communicates with I/O and intelligent option modules through the VME C.1 backplane.
The CPU provides 6 MB of battery-backed RAM, 256 KB of non-volatile user Flash memory, capacity for 12K discrete I/O in any mix and up to 8K analogue I/O. It includes three serial ports, a battery-backed calendar clock, mode and memory-protection switches, seven status LEDs and in-system upgradable firmware.
