Description
The IC693BEM341 is a rack-mounted FIP Bus Controller for connecting an ALSPA C80-35 or Rx3i PLC to a 2.5 Mbit/s FIP network. It exchanges %G, %I, %Q, %AI, %AQ, %R, %M and %T data with FIP devices and reports communication status and faults to the controller.
Two identical 9-pin FIP connectors support single- or redundant-bus configurations. A 15-pin RS-485 service port is provided for connection of a programmer or computer when upgrading the controller runtime software, while six LEDs indicate module status and communication activity. No DIP switch or hardware jumper is required. Backplane consumption is 800 mA typical and 1.2 A maximum.
