Description
The IC693PCM301 is a Modbus controller and communications coprocessor for the ALSPA C80-35. Built around an 80188 processor, it provides 192 KB of battery-backed CMOS user memory, including 47 KB available for a MegaBasic application. It supports Modbus and CCM communications and can be programmed in MegaBasic or C using a compatible computer.
A single 25-pin connector carries two independent serial channels: Port 1 provides an RS-232 interface and Port 2 provides RS-422-compatible signals. The module also includes local and shared RAM, EPROM, a lithium memory-backup battery, a watchdog timer, three status LEDs and a Restart/Reset push button.
