Description
The IC693ALG391 is a two-channel analogue-output module for the ALSPA C80-35 or Rx3i. Each channel converts 12-bit %AQ data into a 0 to 20 mA or 4 to 20 mA current signal; the range is selected independently using jumpers on the detachable terminal board. Both channels are updated on each I/O scan, typically in approximately 5 ms.
Each output can alternatively operate as a lower-accuracy voltage source, providing 0 to 5 V or 1 to 5 V directly, and 0 to 10 V or 2 to 10 V with an external 250-ohm resistor. On CPU STOP or RESET, the outputs can either hold their last value or return to 0/4 mA. The module provides 1500 V isolation between the field and logic sides and can use the isolated 24 VDC backplane supply or an external 20 to 30 VDC supply.
