Description
The IC693CPU374 is a high-performance, single-slot ALSPA C80-35 CPU based on a 133 MHz embedded 586 processor. It provides 240 KB of user memory using RAM and Flash storage, hardware floating-point calculations and a typical execution time of 0.15 microseconds per Boolean instruction.
In an ALSPA P320 system, the CPU374 is intended for use as an F8000 field controller, with FIP communications provided by an IC693BEM340 module. Its built-in Ethernet interface cannot be used as an S8000-E interface in this configuration. The CPU has no built-in serial port; SNP and SNP-X communications use the RS-485 port on the PLC power supply. Up to eight baseplates are supported in total.
