Description
The LE109A-2 is a 32-channel, 24 VDC logic-input module for the ALSPA CE2000 R7/UT150 and CE3000. Its inputs are arranged as four groups of eight, each with an independent common that can be connected to either process-supply polarity for current-sinking positive logic or current-sourcing negative logic.
The operating process-voltage range is 19.2–28.8 VDC. An input is considered closed above 11 V and open below 5 V, with a typical closed-input current of 10 mA. Optocouplers provide isolation from the internal electronics, and every input is protected against overvoltage and reverse polarity. Unlike the LE108A family, the LE109A does not provide individual input-test functions.
