Description
The IR139-1 is a four-channel MODBUS communication module for the ALSPA CE2000. The CE2000 operates as the MODBUS master, with each channel connected either point-to-point to one slave or as a multidrop bus serving up to 32 slave devices.
The four front-panel serial channels support RS-232 and RS-485/RS-422 signalling through 15-pin connectors. The aggregate communication capacity permits one 19,200 bit/s line, two 9,600 bit/s lines, or three to four 4,800 bit/s lines. The ports are not galvanically isolated, and external installations should use a suitable isolation interface.
