Description
The TTM211/IP166 is a thyristor firing and excitation-current control module for ALSPA P320 AVR systems. The TTM211 processing assembly combines a MACO/UT145 controller board with the application-specific IP166 interface and generates correctly timed gate pulses for the excitation-converter thyristors.
The module accepts an analogue current or firing-angle setpoint, including a 4–20 mA regulator setpoint, and can individually control the six thyristors of a full-wave three-phase bridge. It also supports single-phase and mixed-bridge configurations, normal/standby redundancy, local and test modes, synchronisation inputs and MODBUS supervision through RS-232 or RS-485.
