Description
The LE108A-3 is a 16-channel logic-input module for 24 VDC process circuits operating between 19.2 and 34 VDC for the ALSPA CE2000 and CE3000. It acquires unpowered dry contacts in negative logic, with the internal common connected to the positive process-supply pole.
Each input uses an optocoupler to isolate the process circuit from the module’s internal voltages and draws approximately 10.5–14.5 mA when active. The module accepts either a backplane-distributed or external process supply and performs process-voltage monitoring together with logical 1 and logical 0 channel tests.
