Description
The LE108A-2 is a 16-channel logic-input module for 110/125 VDC process circuits operating between 88 and 145 VDC for the ALSPA CE2000 and CE3000. It acquires unpowered dry contacts in negative logic, with the internal common connected to the positive process-supply pole.
The process voltage can be supplied through either the backplane or the process connector. Each input uses an optocoupler for galvanic isolation and draws approximately 10.5–14.5 mA when active. The module monitors process-supply availability and tests the ability of each input channel to assume both the logical 1 and logical 0 states.
