Description
The FT3100-E01 is a Jaquet-sensor turbine overspeed-protection system using three independent speed channels and two-out-of-three voting. The rack integrates speed measurement, sensor monitoring, trip relays, isolated control lines and an internal test-frequency generator; configuration is stored in EEPROM and can be managed through the optional FTK3172 communication module.
It operates from 18 to 33 VDC, accepts sensor signals from 0.05 Hz to 30 kHz and is designed for IEC 61508 SIL 3 safety-related applications.
