Description
LE108A-2 is a 125 V (88 V to 145 V) logic acquisition module with 16 logic inputs supplied by the process voltage, with a common internal point connected to the + pole (negative logic).
The process voltage is supplied by the backplane connector (distributed voltage), or by the process connector (external voltage).
A logic input based on an opto-isolator indicates the presence of the process voltage.
The module has 16 logic input elements for acquisition of 16 free contacts. Each element is based on an opto-isolator which provides galvanic isolation between the process and the internal voltages.
The module monitors the possibility of the inputs to be switched to 1 or 0.
The LE108A-2 module performs the following process tests:
– Detection of process voltage failure
– Test of the input elements at “1”
– Test of the input elements at “0”
